Kyle W. Cooper, age 41, of Granite City, IL, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at his home. Kyle was born on November 25, 1972 in Granite City, IL.
Kyle was an outdoorsman who enjoyed going hunting and fishing. He loved life, he loved to laugh, but most of all he loved his family and friends. Kyle will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eula and Oscar Cooper and maternal grandparents, Roy and Margie Cross; uncle, Dennis Cooper; and one cousin, Lane Cooper.
He is survived by his loving father and stepmother, Larry and Bella Cooper; dear sister, Michelle Cooper; two step-sisters, Penny (Jason Feldt) and Lorri (Brian) Peterson; one step-brother, Terry (Kristen) Kreher; and two step-nieces, Sierrah and Kailee all of Granite City, IL; four uncles, Bennie Cooper of Golconda, IL, Ronald Cooper Sr. of Hillsboro, IL, Kenneth (Marcia) Cooper and Rick Cooper both of Granite City, IL; aunt, Carol Cooper of Granite City, IL; cousin and best friend, Ronald Cooper Jr. and close friends Steve (Cindy) Kofahl; extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road, Granite City, IL.
In celebration of his life, funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Irwin Chapel, Granite City, IL, with Pastor Barry Shepherd officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery on Maryville Road, Granite City, IL.
